yucking people's yum

I was talking to my friend the other day and got called weird several times in the span of 30 minutes, and it got me wondering to myself. What is being considered 'normal' these days? And do normal people actually exist? Personally, I think not.

For me, I like worms, caterpillars, especially fuzzy ones, they are cute; I like 'IHNMAIMS' -- I have no mouth and I must scream-- even though it's quite disturbing; I find myself connecting deeply with the 'Obsession' movie and I think about it every night before I sleep. Those are the some of the things that got me called eccentric, but I think they are pretty cool, if you're like me, props to you, you're cool too.

Anyways, it's frustrating to see people judge and bully others for being unorthodox when in reality they're just expressing themselves and taking interests in things that fewer people care about. I feel like this is a topic that we don't talk about enough. Because why is someone getting sent dead threats and bullied for being a furry and others getting praised for wearing a coquette outfit (no hate to the coquette community tho, love yall) while it's basically just a body with some fabric on? And because of all that unnecessary hate, people nowadays seldom express themselves or even speak up their minds.  Apart from those who genuinely have concerning and mentally unwell interests -- which could potentially cause harm to themselves or others-- I think people should just stop being so judgemental  and insecure and embrace our weirdness because let's be real, no one is normal these days, not after quarantine, it's just that people are too scared of being criticized to actually be themselves. The world would be a much better place if people just stopped caring and let others live their life, everyone's got too much on their plate already.  Humans are so weird for judging another human being for having a personality, I can never fully understand that.

I don't think I'm wrong for getting upset at this, what do you guys think tho? Please lmk! Anyways, love yourself and be safe, ruby's out!

P/S. I don't hate my friend for calling me weird! It's just their way of teasing me.
